KIDDIE KICKERS

OMM’s Kiddie Kickers Program was created to introduce young children to soccer through games and activities.

Our Kiddie Kickers program follows a clinic format – there are no practices or competitive games – the only games are the ones the children play as they work on their skills. Each of the sessions will last 50 minutes. Children are grouped by age and parents can chose to have their child play or either Saturday or Sunday as long as they complete registration four weeks before opening day. Children registering after that date may still be able to be placed in a preferred day of play if there is space in their age group.

  • Who: Any and all children born in 2019 & 2020 (fall) or 2018 & 2019 (spring).
  • How much: The fee to register for the 2023 Spring season is $200 (with an additional charge of $15 for those that are not Orangetown residents).
  • When: Each session runs for six weeks. April to May in the Spring and September to October in the Fall.
  • Where: Sessions will be held on either Saturday or Sunday mornings. Upon registration you will select the day of play. Times vary by age, with the first session at 9 am and the last session at 12 pm. We do make sure to keep siblings together in the same session however, we are not able to take player requests outside of siblings.

WITHDRAWAL FROM KIDDIE KICKERS: Our refund policy is noted on the website under the Programs tab of the website when you click on the Registration tab. Because of the young age of our Kiddie Kicker participants, players who find they are not ready for a group/team experience can withdraw after the first session and a $75 credit will be issued for registration in the next season. Please note that the league must be notified of the withdrawal before the second session and the credit must be used by the same child in the subsequent season (for fall, it would be our spring program).

Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 – Children born in 2019 and 2020.

WITHDRAWAL FROM KIDDIE KICKERS: Because of the young age of our Kiddie Kicker participants, players who find they are not ready for a group/team experience can withdraw after the first session and a $75 credit will be issued for registration in the next season. Please note that the league must be notified of the withdrawal before the second session and the credit must be used by the same child in the subsequent season (for fall, it would be our spring program).

In order to cancel registration, we must receive notification from the participant in writing by one month before the first session (e.g., email to registrar@ommsoccer.org, postal letter, etc.). As is our practice, we will always confirm our receipt of any withdrawals with an email response- if you do not receive confirmation, you should assume the league did not receive notice and contact them again. Please allow 3 weeks for a refund to be processed if payment was made by check or credit card. If a refund is made by credit card an email receipt will be sent. If you do not receive a refund within that time period, please contact mariaommsoccer@aol.com and let us know.

While we provide the uniform (jersey, shorts and socks). Players are required to wear shin guards and either sneakers or cleats. We also recommend bringing a water bottle as players are given water breaks during the session.

Players are also asked to bring a soccer ball (size 3) to the sessions.
