SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION

Spring Soccer will run on Saturdays and Sundays from April 17th through June 7th. You can register online until February 10th. The registration site lists the days we anticipate each age group will play, although those days may be adjusted if needed. All games will either be on Saturday or Sunday, and will generally be held between 9 am- 2 pm. Spring Soccer is open to those born between 1996 - 2004.

*Please note- we do not have a late registration period for Spring Soccer- if you wish to register you should do so before registration closes.

HELPING IN HAITI

The recent earthquakes in Haiti have left countless dead, and many more struggling to locate relatives, friends, and find shelter and food. One of our World Class Travel staff is still awaiting word on relatives who live in Haiti. There are many charities working to help in Haiti- we have posted links to a few if you wish to donate.

N.Y. State Soccer Coaching License Classes

OMM will again be hosting NY State licensing courses. Use the link below to register for the F or E level course. Classes will be held at the OMM office. The F course will be held on Saturday, March 5th from 9-5 and the E course will be held on March 12, 13, and 19th. Click here to go to the ENYYSA site for more details and to register. Once at the site select the Coaches Corner link and then scroll down to select your course, choosing the Orangetown location. Payment is done online (*note- space is limited !).

Did You Miss Your Awards Ceremony Session?

We thank the coaches and players of the Nyack College Soccer Mens and Womans teams for hosting a free soccer clinic under the lights on the turf field just for our Junior Boys and Girls players. A great time was had by all and we truly appreciate their efforts for our players.

RED BULLS STAR JUAN PABLO ANGEL CUTS THE RIBBON TO

OPEN OUR NEW FIELDS!

Soccer Star Juan Pablo Angel came out on Sunday September 13th and officially opened the new field complex at a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by OMM, WCSA, and Buddyball players and families. After remarks by OMM President Kerry Beckmann and Town Supervisor Thom Kleiner, Juan Pablo declared the field officially open and then followed up by drawing a winner from those in attendance to receive a family pack of 4 tickets to an upcoming Red Bulls game. We thank all those who came out for the event, as well as TZ mascot Zee whose antics helped to entertain the crowds.

Sposorship is available for divisions, game balls, goals, benches, and a number of other things. We are currently preparing to accept sponsorship bids for the coming year (spring 2009- spring 2010). We are happy that the turf field at the RPC Field complex is now open and look ahead to when our Player Clubhouse will be finished. OMM has paid for the purchase and installation of field lights and a turf field which were released for use in late October. Our three Golf Outings have helped to pay for lights and the other improvements we have committed to and allowed us to continue to move ahead. Our 2010 Marathon is already being scheduled. Click here for information about the yearly Golf Marathon event. (Did you know that we anticipate needing to raise more than $2 million dollars for all of the improvements we are undertaking? If your employer does matching gifts please let us know- OMM and Buddyball are both 501 (c)3 organizations and your support in this endeavor is truly needed!)
